A big congrats to our undergraduate student @jessgreatorex, who was awarded an Autism Science Foundation’s Undergraduate Research Summer Grant of to support her research this summer. Jessie will work directly with ABA agencies that contract with Medicaid to determine how clinicians can better support parents participating in parent- mediated interventions.
Julia Nauman Wins Multiple Awards from the International Society for Autism Research (INSAR)!
Congratulations to Julia Nauman, the MSU Autism Lab’s Lab Manager, for receiving an Autistic Researcher Award from INSAR. Last year Julia won the Student and Trainee Award from INSAR and presented at INSAR’s 2021 virtual research conference.

During INSAR’s May 2021 virtual conference, Julia gave a presentation entitled “Examining the Relationship between Stereotypy and Attentional Problems and Diagnoses in Individuals with ASD”.

Kyle Frost Wins the ASDD SIG Student Award!
Congratulations to our graduate student Kyle Frost for winning the ASDD SIG student award for her work on implementation research in ASD through Project ImPACT!
Kyle Frost Wins a Two-Year National Research Service Award (F31)!
Kyle was recently awarded a two-year National Research Service Award (F31) from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development for a project titled: “Using the Theory of Change framework to map active ingredients and mechanisms of change underlying an early parent-implemented intervention for autism spectrum disorder.”
This NIH grant will fund her dissertation work, and enable her participation in a variety of training and professional development opportunities over the next two years!
